Your responsibilities
As a key member of the private credit team, you will support successful medium-sized companies with financing and provide investors access to private credit investments in Europe and the USA through specialized funds. You will work closely with our clients in building diversified and robust portfolios. As an ambitious team player you will take ownership of your own projects across various strategies including senior, subordinated and opportunistic financings. In this highly visible role, you will have the chance to play an integral role in the further development and success of our expanding credit platform.
Further details regarding the role are below:
- Manage and expand the private credit portfolio, including global market coverage, sourcing, due diligence and portfolio monitoring
- Lead internal investment processes, including preparation of investment committee materials and presentation to the investment committee and to clients
- Due diligence of various transaction types, comprising direct investments, co-investments, primaries, and secondaries
- Over time independently lead client interactions, e.g. strategy discussions, investment proposals and regular client investment committee meetings
- Actively participate in portfolio monitoring and portfolio management, including regular update meetings with our existing managers and attending annual meetings on behalf of the Firm
- Manage junior team members
Your qualifications
- Strong academic credentials with a degree in business, finance, economics or equivalent
- 7-10 years of relevant experience, ideally in a Private Credit Fund or in another credit-related position such as
- leveraged finance, banking or debt advisory with proven project management skills
- Investor mindset with strong analytical capabilities (familiarity with credit analysis, capital structures and LBO modeling); experience with credit agreements would be beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English (actively presenting in meetings and writing investment memos)
