For our dedicated Risk Team, we are looking for a Team Lead Risk Management (m/f/d) at our Luxembourg office, starting as soon as possible.
Your responsibility
Act as the independent Second Line of Defence function and provide both functional and disciplinary leadership of the AIFM’s Risk Management function, including the continued development of the Risk Management team.
Further develop and take ownership of the Risk Management framework at both fund and AIFM level.
Oversee the risk assessment of investment opportunities and prepare risk management opinions for the Investment Committee.
Lead the preparation of specific analyses and risk measurements (investment limit monitoring, counterparty risk monitoring, KPI limit monitoring, exposure calculations, and ESG/SFDR monitoring) and drive their automation and digitalization.
Manage and prepare regular and ad hoc risk reports for supervisory authorities, boards of directors, and the executive management of the AIFM, as well as respond to investor inquiries and RFPs related to risk management.
Ensure an efficient and scalable Risk Operating Model through automation, digitalization, and the use of modern data and AI solutions.
Monitor ongoing regulatory developments (particularly AIFMD, CSSF requirements, and ESG/SFDR regulations) and ensure their implementation within the AIFM.
Your qualification
Ideally, a completed degree in business administration, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related scientific discipline.
At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in risk management within an AIFM or comparable experience, for example with an audit or consulting firm.
Experience in private markets, finance/accounting, and sound knowledge of Luxembourg corporate and financial regulatory frameworks, particularly AIFMD.
Business fluency in English;German language skills are beneficial.
