To strengthen our committed AML Team, we are looking for a seasoned Senior AML/KYC/KYA Specialist (m/f/d) for our Luxembourgish AIFM. This role is ideal for candidates with multiple years of experience and a proven track record in handling AML/KYC/KYA related projects.

Your responsibility

  • Take full ownership of AML/KYC/KYA methodology across investors, investments, and service providers, including onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and enhanced due diligence.
  • Lead the preparation, review, and submission of AML/CFT reports and notifications to regulators, authorities, board members, committees, and senior management.
  • Act as the primary AML/CFT expert and key contact for regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders.
  • Take the lead for an implementation and integration project for an Onboarding and AML/KYC technology solution, drive subsequently enhancement of this solution.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of new AML/KYC/KYA requirements.
  • Support the assumption of AML governance responsibilities, including the potential to take on RC functions.
  • Collaborate with business, legal, risk, and operations teams to ensure efficient transaction execution while maintaining compliance standards.
  • Act as coach and partner for colleagues and business teams.
  • Support the Compliance Officer in Non-AML related matters.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field and multiple years of professional experience in relevant fields; compliance/AML certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in AML/KYC/KYA and Compliance ideally within an AIFM or Luxembourg financial services environment.
  • Proven track record in transformation and digitization projects for AML & Compliance Use Cases.
  • IT-savvy and comfortable working with digital tools, data workflows, and process improvements.
  • Good understanding of direct and indirect Private Equity, Private Credit and Infrastructure investments.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Proactive, organized, and eager to grow into broader responsibilities.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; German language skills are a strong advantage.
