Your responsibility
- Long-term support and optimization of existing tools (especially R, R Shiny) after familiarization with the existing large codebases
- Design and prototyping of new tools, followed by guiding the IT implementation
- Assistance in establishing data science approaches in various departments of the company (Sales, Investments, Finance)
- Independent as well as collaborative development of corresponding concepts and their presentation to stakeholders
- Contribution to the development of suitable quality and plausibility checks, especially in the context of sensitivity analyses and stress tests
- Participation in automation initiatives in a dynamically growing financial company
Your qualification
- Above-average degree in Business Informatics, Economics or related with a quantitative focus
- Strong IT affinity and solid coding skills in financial data and models using "R" or a comparable programming language
- Relevant professional experience in financial modeling or in the finance sector is advantageous
- Ideally, initial practical experience in software development or database projects
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Very good German or English language skills in written and spoken communication
