Your responsibility

You are part of companywide change and development towards organizational excellence and a new business target operating model. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving data-informed decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and support the implementation of strategic initiatives. In your role you will support the growth and internationalization of the company.


This includes:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring business demand is in alignment with strategic directions and there is a clear understanding on project objectives.
  • Translate business needs to technical requirements, conduct feasibility studies and develop functional specifications to ensure alignment between business needs and technological solutions.  
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis and develop actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Perform in-depth process analysis, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional requirements, use cases, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements and user acceptance testing.
  • Support project management efforts by providing regular updates, tracking project milestones, and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct user training and facilitate change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes or systems.

Your qualification

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the private equity, investment banking, or management consulting industry.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools, such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirements gathering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong documentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and the ability to work within project constraints (scope, time, resources).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in German and English with strong verbal and written communication skills
